Mounting your camera
Cyclops uses a single nadir camera for both visual navigation and map matching. Below are some tips on how to mount your camera to get the best performance from Cyclops.
Mount the camera under the wings or on the belly of your aircraft
The ideal mounting solution has the camera perpendicular to the ground during normal flight
Ensure the camera will not be damaged during takeoff or landing
Ensure the camera has an unobstructed view of the ground
Consider adding vibration isolation if using a large camera module or mounting near a source of vibration
