# Home position

Each map has a home position that represents the location where Cyclops will initialize during takeoff. It is displayed as a circle within a map boundary on the map screen.

To set the home position, either drag the circle to a desired location within the map boundary or enter coordinates in the *Home Position* field. Then click the **SAVE** button to set this as the new home position for that map.
